Guardian Access Corp. plans to have its new 100,000 ft² die-casting plant in Johor, Malaysia operational in the 4th quarter, later this year. The facility will add over 660 US tons/month of aluminum die-casting capacity to better serve the needs of garage door and spring OEMs worldwide. Die castings, cable drums and spring fittings, will be the first product lines to be made in Malaysia. The new plant will be state of the art, with robotics and automation featured prominently in all processes.
