Guardian Medium Duty Commercial Door Operators are designed for use on commercial sectional doors with standard, vertical or high lift track or on small rolling doors or grilles that will operate no more than 20 cycles/hour.
The jackshaft and hoist operators feature a standard duty logic board with 24V NEC Class 2 control and 40VA transformer. An LCD display for easy programming of monitored or non-monitored entrapment devices, momentary or constant pressure control and timer-to-close is standard on the logic board. Diagnostics and cycle count can also be viewed. On-board open/close/stop buttons make the testing during installation simple. Connection terminals facilitate the use of standard 3-wire radio control systems, plus a Guardian radio receiver is on-board.
The 1/2HP operators are only available for use with 120V/60Hz and single-phase input power.
Standard on the MDJ & MDH are an adjustable friction clutch and solenoid actuated mechanical disc band brake system. All chain drive reductions use #41 chain.
Included with all operators are a 3-button open/stop/close station, monitored photo-eyes, sash chain or hoist chain, drive and door sprockets for rolling or section doors and #41 drive chain. Finger protection safety guards covering external rotating drive components are optional.
