Guardian Access & Door Hardware is excited to introduce the first in the line of garage door operators that will use the beam plug-in Wi-Fi controller, the 928V residential jackshaft GDO.
In addition to its ability to lift an 18’x14’, 850lb door with ease, motion sensing LED lighting, optional backup battery, cable tension monitor and auto-lock; dealers will now have the power to make the Smart operator decision for themselves. Pay for Wi-Fi only when it is needed.
The beam Smart Controller can be plugged into a port on the control center of the 928V, before, during or after installation. Once connected, homeowners can access the beamHome app and program their phone to control their door.
Never paying for the Smart feature up front leads to the benefits of lower inventory carrying costs, satisfying a customer’s real needs and the ability to be more competitive when quoting new jobs.
With the beamHome app, real-time alerts can be received and door activity monitored from a smartphone. Auto-close can be enabled and door open notification reminders can be set. An unlimited number of users can be added. The V3 is Alexa/Amazon skills compatible and offers free IFTTT integration. Best if all there are NO SUBSCRIPTION FEES to enable integrations like Alexa and IFTTT.
The V3 meets the UL325 standard, is FCC approved and only compatible with Guardian made garage door openers with the beam Smart Port (V or V3 model suffix designation).
