Meet the team.
Andrew grew up in the family business. Rather than laying on the beach, his summers were spent working production or loading trucks. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 2009, it was Andrew’s vision to grow the operator portion of the business and bring it direct to serve in the USA. To do this, he opened the Guardian USA HQ in CA in 2011.
Brian has over 25 years of garage door opener industry experience. Prior to Guardian, he spent over 20 years with The Chamberlain Group Inc. in various positions including global marketing, new product, and business development. After Chamberlain, Brian joined ET Technology of Wuxi, China as the company’s CEO. Brian began working with Guardian in January of 2013.
Doug was one of the original hires in November of 2019 when Guardian moved to Richardson, TX. Doug is responsible for ordering product, shipping to one of the Guardian US warehouses, managing those warehouses and processing all orders to US customers. Doug is an avid Cowboy’s fan and lives with his wife and kids in Allen, TX.
Prior to joining Guardian in 2012, Jason spent 12 years working with IPS supplying window and sliding door components. His current responsibilities at Guardian in addition to IPS include traffic management, training, customer service, and serves as Territory Manager in Florida. Jason is also fluent in Spanish!
Leveraging over 20 years of financial expertise in banking and manufacturing, Alan joined ADH Guardian in April 2024 to handle the accounting, finance and HR functions. He earned a BS in Business Administration with a major in Management and Accounting from the University of the East – Manila, Philippines. In his free time, Alan takes to the skies with his drone!
Randy is an industry veteran and has held sales and leadership positions with Hollywood Crawford Door Co., Overhead Door Corp., Texdoor Ltd., and Clopay. At Guardian, he grows sales and manages accounts in TX, OK, AR, NM, and LA. Randy joined Guardian in February 2016 and in his free time likes to compete in chili cookoffs!
Gerardo has over 18 years of product design and manufacturing experience including 3 years at System Sensor and 15 years at The Chamberlain Group developing garage door openers and other products. Most recently, Gerardo spent a year as General Manager for Smurfitkappa. Following this, Gerardo joined Guardian in 2019 as Engineering Director.
Originally from El Salvador, Manuel brings 30+ years of international business experience. His background ranges from telecommunications at 3M to access control and automation with The Chamberlain Group. He is an excellent addition to the team. Manuel joined Guardian in August 2016 and continues to manage sales in Latin America.
Steve brings 30+ years of installation and service dealer experience to Guardian. Between working for an Ohio door company, and owning his own, he brings a vast knowledge of residential and commercial doors and operators. Steve holds three different certifications from the IDEA and continues his education even today.
Elena has recently joined the Guardian team in the Sales Manager Trainee role. She trained here and recently transitioned into the Western Region Sales representative position. Elena is fluent in Spanish, has extensive sales experience, engineering experience, and received a degree as a Mechatronics Engineer from Technologico de Monterrey.
Brent is a recent graduate from Baylor University with a degree in Communications and Business Administration. He brings experience in digital marketing, email marketing, communications, and the low-voltage industry. In his free time, Brent enjoys hanging out with his roommate and playing with his cat Penny!
Erick Flores joined Guardian in November 2022, starting with foundational training in door operations and technical service. Since then, he has significantly expanded his industry expertise, now offering dependable phone-based technical support and assisting with shipping operations from our Texas location.
Sebastian was most recently a Technical Sales Manager for Guardian. He brings experience that is unparalleled with his extensive knowledge surrounding all things Guardian. Sebastian is also the son of Gerardo Guzman. Sebastian strives to bring service that never disappoints and is able to manage many different inside accounts at once.
